NC CofCC in Thomasville, NC
AJ Barker of the NC CofCC organized a demonstration in Thomasville, NC today May 19th, following an announcement that 330 more local manufacturing jobs were leaving the country. The demonstration was held in front of Thomasville’s 30 foot statue of a chair, once a symbol of the booming local furniture industry. During the demonstration, traffic slowed as a non-stop procession of motorists honked their horns and waved in approval.
