Anti-Christmas Businesses this year

From the CofCC.org News Team…

Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic; these three companies, all owned by Gap. Old Navy’s website shows only the two references to Christmas, boxer shorts and a child’s sleepwear set.

Banana Republic found no reference to “Christmas. Everything is holiday. At Gap there was a single reference to Christmas; boxer shorts. Gap did offer video greetings called “Happy Chrismukkah” and “Merry Christmas Gaptidings.”

Kohl’s is another. Under a hard to find “Christmas promotions” category on their Web site, Kohl’s doesn’t include a single use of Christmas. Their main page says two day Holiday mega sale. With the exception of a handful of trinkets associated with Christmas by their manufacturer, Kohl’s has misled the public and effectively banned Christmas.

PetSmart’s home page says Christmas and the Holiday Season. A web search shows 252 references to holiday. It also found 43 references to Christmas. Of all the items that pop up when you search for Christmas, not a single one mentions Christmas or is identified as being a Christmas gift.
