Geno’s Steak owner brought before Orwellian “Human Rights Commission.”

Nick Taliaferro, the executive director of Philadelphia’s Commission on Human Relations – “Free speech is not the unfiltered license to say whatever you want to say.”

In a scene that was straight out of Orwell’s 1984, Joey Vento is brought before a “Human Rights Commission” hearing on vague thought crimes charges. Vento put a sign in his place of business asking customers to “please order in English.”

About 100 supporters of Vento piled in the meeting room, along with members of radical left-wing and militant Hispanic groups. Lawyers on both sides argued their case.
