Fox Pundits Pull Paul Poll

Following the South Carolina Republican debate broadcast on Fox News, the network conducted a text message poll to find out which candidate viewers chose as the winner. Thirty-two percent of the Fox audience picked Ron Paul, who was the winner by ten percentage points over his nearest rival, Fred Thompson. The poll didn’t stay in sight for long. 

The Fox poll outcome provoked a petulant response from conservatoid houseboy Sean Hannity, who peevishly dismissed the opinion of Fox viewers and declared Paul the loser.  A hand-picked focus group recruited by Fox goose honked in unison with Hannity’s opinion.
