East TN CofCC to hold “Celt Fest”

The East Tennessee CofCC will have a live band and a Scottish Games Competition on a private farm next month.

Celt Fest is a chance to experience authentic Scottish and Irish food, tartans, and learn to speak Scottish Gaelic. The Southern Appalachian Highland Games include Caber Toss, Shot Put, Chest Put, Tug of War, Archery and Sledgehammer Throw. This event is hosted and sponsored by the East Tennessee Chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens. Open to the public, other activities include vendors and distribution of literature.
