Idaho resolution makes progress one day after being introduced!

An Idaho state rep introduced a 10th Amendment/State Sovereignty resolution into the Idaho House State Affairs Committee on March 3rd. The resolution was passed 13-4 by a House committee the very next day! It will now go to the full House for a vote. Read Article.

What Idaho Lawmakers are saying:

Rep. Dick Harwood, R-St. Maries, said, “We think they oughta back off and let the states govern themselves a little bit.”

Rep. Ken Andrus, R-Lava Hot Springs, said, “We don’t stand up for ourselves, who will? Our rights, our constitutional rights, are being trampled right before our eyes.”

Rep. Erik Simpson, R-Idaho Falls, said, “I personally don’t see any harm in sending a message to the federal government that the state of Idaho respects the Constitution.”
