The school receives $9,300 per pupil per year in funding. This is $1,000 higher than the state average.

Great Schools lists the school as 100% black. Of course the problem is obvious. The school is named after a white woman. If they could just change the name to Michelle Obama Academy, I’m sure every student would get straight A’s.
