Council of Conservative Citizens

Members of the Florida West Coast chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens gathered Saturday September 12, 2009 in Crystal River Florida to hear U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite, of Brooksville Florida and others rally supporters for government reform. Council members distributed 3 boxes of The Citizens Informer and applications. The event was located at Little Springs Park. The Tea party began at 12:00 noon with an attendance of approximately 500 people and grew to more than 1,500 by the time Brown spoke. A frequent message articulated by attendees decried government debt, and described Obama’s policies as socialism.
