NAACP posterboy judge indicted for homosexual sex with inmates.
A former Mobile, Alabama judge is accused of using inmates for homosexual sex.
Herman Thomas has been dodging charges of homosexual activity with inmates since 2001. His first charges in 2001 were dismissed. The NAACP promotes Thomas as a leading role-model for the black community and even held a public rally to support him last April.
Now he has been indicted for sodomy, kidnapping, sex abuse, extortion, assault and ethics violations. The judge is believed to have traded lighter sentences for sexual favors.
The NAACP is still defending Thomas saying he is a victim of white racism. A lawyer for Thomas said that white Mobile politicians are targeting his client because “they don’t like uppity black folks.”
