A staggering 54% disapprove of Obama after only 14 months in office. Shattering the 2nd year disapproval rate of any other president in recent history.
Only 45% say they approve of the president. Only 26% of Americans strongly approve, with blacks making up a big chunk of that.
Last year, the black-white divide continued to grow. None of the major polling companies have published a white vs. black approval rating in several months. However it can be estimated that white approval rate would be well below 40% while the black approval rate is about 85% or higher.
The Obama presidency has not brought the races together. Instead it has done the exact opposite and opened new animosity.
