Chicago: 4th of July attendance off by 700k. Gee, I wonder why?
At the annual Taste of Chicago festival this year three people were stabbed and a group of women and young children were brutally attacked by thugs.
City officials have the audacity to ask why 700k – 1,000k fewer people showed this year!
About 700,000 fewer people attended this year’s Taste of Chicago food festival on the city’s lakefront and city officials say it’s likely because the annual July 3 Grant Park fireworks were canceled.
Last year 3.35 million people attended the festival and this year attendance was 2.65 million.

Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis (WEES) says as of Saturday night 55 people were arrested at the Taste of Chicago. He says nine people were charged with felonies.
