NASCAR insults southern base.

NASCAR spit on it’s southern fan base by declaring that the Confederate flag is offensive. NASCAR reneged on a promise to allow PGA star Bubba Watson drive an original General Lee from the Duke of Hazard tv show as a pace car at the Phoenix International Raceway.

Despite being most popular among white southerners, NASCAR has a history of insulting this very group. Son of Confederate Veterans is also banned from being an advertiser.

    All NASCAR fans ought to start showing up at all events wearing St Andrew’s crosses on their persons in one way or another. Have it on shirts, pants, paint it on faces, carry in blankets with the cross on it, put it on cars, hey put it on anything you can get a hold of!
    Start a write in campaign to NASCAR honchos telling them either allow the saltire to be used on cars or face declining attendance starting now. Encourage all racers in NASCAR to display the cross on their cars and persons and if they get in trouble with the NASCAR nabobs, support them throughout it. And if worst comes to worst, start another racing association that will not denigrate Sothron pride!

    NASCAR is just another business pandering to a fan base. There is and never was any integrity or loyalty there, only some gratitude for spending money. This is a wake up call to those who think Nascar is a Southern thing.

    Every yahoo that i see wearing that flag, i ask, what does it mean? He inevitably denies its racist history and proudly states it represents the South. I ask, what about the South? He says “states rights”. I then ask, states rights to do what? Thats when the lightbulb goes turns on.

    After that, I then ask him, what do you think people would do if others started sporting the NAZI flag like you sport the Bars & Stripes, because Hitler did a lot of good things for Germany, gave Germans pride, and it was only that small little detail everyone wants to hold that NAZI flag to.

    Thats when the epiphany comes. then my job is done

    Hey Ralph, you didn’t mind the US leaving Britain did ya? well they get along with us and dont try to take our emblems, and yes the flag symbolizes great southern values, do you have any? Bwaaaa I doubt it, I bet you even voted for the Obumble one!

    What is it about today and 25 to 30 years ago has changed? Dukes of Hazzard was on TV until 1985, without much controversy that I can recall.

    And since you brought up the Nazi’s, Have you ever read what John F Kennedy had to say about Hitler?

    Cultural Marxism is professional at assigning motivations to symbols in order to eradicate them from polite society. The ADL even catalogs “hate” symbols that should be monitored and harassed and the suspect who would display such sybolism should be barred from employment, home ownership, or positions on elected councils, boards, or other groups, if not outright jailed for nothing more than a thought.

    it`s the “stars and bars”, and as far as Nascar is concerned…it`s all about the $money$…for a dying sport. Southeners have quit going to the races over this very fact! “Bristol”, use to sell out just just from the local fan base. Greed and their choice of criticism has led to poor ticket sales. Maybe one day, Bristol will change their slogan from “racin` the way it ought to be” to ” racin` the way it use to be”.
