Chicago thug charged with hate crime in latest attack

CofCC.org spends a lot of time reporting on the mass censorship of black crime, especially black on white crime. Even when a black on white crime is reported, the media goes to extreme lengths to convince the public it was “random” and not motivated by racial hatred. In Grand Rapids, the media recently censored an entire race riot involved at least seven white victims.
Many cities will not charge a black suspect with a hate crime under any circumstances. Recently we have seen authorities go to great lengths to justify not charging blacks with hate crimes.
There have been a lot of black on white racially motivated mob attacks in Chicago. Usually they get the same treatment by the police and media that occurs in other big cities. This one is much different. The adult thug has been charged with a hate crimes, and the local Fox station gave an honest account. Perhaps it is, in part, because the attack occurred in a suburb and not the city of Chicago itself.
An 18-year-old man has been charged with a hate crime for his part in a robbery of a man on an Oak Park street this week.
Alton L. Hayes III, of 1233 N. Woodbine Ave., was allegedly one of two people who attacked a man walking on the 600 block of North Kenilworth Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Hayes and a 15-year-old Chicago boy walked up behind a 19-year-old man and allegedly pinned his arms to his side, according to police.
Hayes allegedly picked up a large tree branch, pointed it at the man and said “empty your pockets, white boy.”
The two allegedly rifled through the victim’s pockets, then threw him to the ground and punched him “numerous times” in the head and back before running away.

“They gave indication that part of the reason for the crime had something to do with the victim’s race,” Reynolds said.
Hayes is being held in lieu of $80,000 bond and has a Friday court date at the Maybrook courthouse.
The boy was referred to juvenile court.

This is not something conservatives should be celebrating. Yes, we need to point out the so-called double standard (but which is really a single, anti-white standard) used by the left to apply “hate crime” language to crimes committed by whites against a protected group but not the other way around. There is an anti-white standard here and it should be recognized and condemned.
However, the answer is not to apply “hate crime” laws to everyone equally. Rather, the answer needs clearly to be that “hate crime” laws are inherently unjust and unChristian, given their Orwellian thoughtcrime nature.
I don’t know what the CofCC’s position is on this exactly, but I can’t help but gather from the blog postings here that they believe “hate crimes” *should* be leveled against blacks who commit crimes against whites, and that — in the rare instances when this is done — this is *good* thing. If this is not the position of CofCC — and it shouldn’t be, if it wants to identify as Christian and conservative — then it needs to make that more clear.
Again, I cannot stress this enough: “hate crimes” are not conservative and they are not Christian; they are, by nature, tools used by the tyrannical state to unjustly punish groups that it doesn’t like. In the case of modern-day, leftist America, those groups that must be singled out and “punished” are whites, Christians, conservatives, and males (men). “Hate crime” legislation needs to be opposed at the premise level, not at the level of how such laws are applied. This is the conservative, Christian position, and the CofCC needs to be more clear about where it stands on this.
