Delmon Young of Detroit Tigers charged with a hate crime

Detroit Tigers outfielder Delmon Young was arrested in New York City and has been charged with a hate crime.
Delmon Young allegedly assaulted a panhandler while making fun of the victim for being Jewish. Police say the panhandler was wearing a yarmulke.

Of course, had this been a Christian street preacher, nobody would have cared. They certainly wouldn’t have charged him with a “hate crime.”

It’s a sign of intellectual and emotional immaturity to take interest in an endeavor that has no real meaning or impact on your life. They’re games.
