Serial shoplifter pepper sprays Piggy Wiggly employees to steal bacon and beer

What happens when chronic shoplifters keep getting slapped on the wrist? Many states don’t even punish shoplifters for their first conviction any more. They only have to go to a “class” where an instructor informs them that it is wrong to shoplift.

When the criminals are not punished, they commit even worse crimes.

    What really happens is that these lowlifes finally get caught and arrested.  Then, they get a public defender, paid for by the taxes of the storeowner, who tells them what they can and cannot do to avoid arrest THE NEXT TIME. 

    So, they get a slap on the wrist and are back out on the street with their newfound knowledge of how to shoplift and beat the system. 

    That, or they just join a flashmob of twenty or so of their closest friends…..
