Teen murdered in broad daylight in North Carolina
A white 17 year-old was shot in the neck while he sat in the driver seat of his car in Kannapolis, NC. Police believe three black males are responsible.
Family and friends mourned Tuesday as investigators continued searching for answers in the shooting death of a 17-year-old A.L. Brown High School student.
Dozens of friends gathered around the school rock Tuesday morning to honor the memory of Daniel Lee Cooper, who was shot in the neck Monday afternoon while a passenger in a car on Snow Street.
Kannapolis Police investigators have obtained a murder warrant for Darius Jamal Smotherson, who they believe to be one of three involved in the shooting. He had not been arrested Tuesday evening.
The shooting took place around 3 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Snow Street in north Kannapolis, police said. Emergency crews found Cooper in a white Honda Prelude less than half a mile away on West 22nd Street.
Cooper was taken by ambulance to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord, where he later died.
The name of the person driving the Honda has not been released.
Cooper’s mother, Laura Tucker, said her son would have celebrated his 18th birthday on Saturday.
“I’m at a loss for words,” she said Tuesday. “He was getting ready to graduate in a few weeks.”
Tucker declined to comment further but said she hopes anyone with information about the murder calls 911.
The three men believed to be involved in the shooting were last seen running away from Snow Street, officers said. Police tape was tied along the roadside near a walking path Tuesday.
Smotherson, 19, has a last known address on Glendale Avenue, police said.
The second suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 130 to 150 pounds. He has a bald head and short goatee. He was wearing a white T-shirt with a design on it.
The third suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, also about 6 feet tall and 130 to 150 pounds. A witness was not able to describe his clothing.
So mom is at a loss for word’s, well let me help you. He would have celebrated his 18th birthday IF whites of the past couple of generations had not given this country, our country, to these African savages.

This is about a child who was wrongfully killed. It just so happens that the witness saw three black men running away from the crime scene. You have no idea what happened that night. And white people kill just as much as anyone else.

So the next time you see a hornet buzzing around you, please let it do as it pleases, because you wouldn’t want to judge its behavior based on “stereotypes”. Or, you might want to consider what is happening in Greece right now, or perhaps live on a Native American reservation, and see how well you do in those places.

Blacks make up ~13% of the population of the US, yet they commit on average ~59% of all murders in this country. They account for 49% of all HIV/Aids infections(CDC Data), Black on White crimes are 12 times as common as White on Black. Don’t be yet another liberal white apologist. I am sick and tired of savages killing with impunity and the MSM all but ignoring it, yet when any non-black kills a black, it is an International Incident.
May 25th, 2012 at 7:56 amOk, I am a friend of the boy that died. I know the story. I know the family. This should not have happened. The boys originally planned to shoot the girl but no one knows why. Daniel then tried wrestling the gun away and in return got shot in the neck. In the opinions of the ones close to him and the ones that matter, he died a hero. End of discussion. The killers mother works with my mother, she told us that he has tried robbing other people before too. This was not his first attempt. But on the brighter side, he has been arrested along with one of his accomplices. Now out of respect for Daniel and his family just pray for peace for them and all of us during this time of sorrow. Listen up to the disparity…Injustices …when some of the same crimes committed by those of a different race do not get the same sentences …when girls are getting abortion or get veneral diseases they tend at times not to be recorded accurately..and often go misrepresented…If we are looking to be justified in things that are wrong or to find what race of people is better…i don’t know where one lives…inferiority complexes is a terrible thing…it is just so terrible for the infraction and the scarring the incorrect information that is dissimilated at times.
