I was approaching an escalator to street level, when I was suddenly shoved out of the way by a fiftyish or so black man, not well dressed, and perhaps unsteady on his feet. He just kept on going to the escalator, as if I weren't there, and took it to street level. I was as much confused as stunned. There was this white guy who saw the whole thing: he just smiled at me, and shrugged his shoulders. So you see, boys and girls, it's not just the youths who act out. Here endeth the lesson.
