James Holmes chose city with WORST guns laws in the state!

Colorado is a shall-issue CCW state. However, radical left-wing city councilmen have banned concealed carry in 13 Colorado cities.

13 Colorado cities ban concealed carry:

Aurora, Boulder, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Denver, Englewood, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Northglenn, Pueblo, Thornton, Westminster, Wheat Ridge

Only one city in the entire state has banned having a loaded gun in your car:

Aurora

    Maybe Holmes took it into account that he’d be less likely counter-attacked in Aurora because of the anti-second amendment bans?

    This doesn’t surprise me: The cities and counties with the most restrictive gun laws have the most violent crime, because the likelihood of a violent criminal having to pay the ultimate price for his crimes is greatly diminished or non-existant. (“Concealed/Carry is the most effective means of reducing violent crime ever studied by economists…” according to Lott & Mustard in “More guns, Less Crime,”)
