Joke “command” create for joke of an officer specifically so that he could be promoted to 4 Star. He messes it up. Because not in command anymore reduced to 2 Star. Sounds like he should be busted down to 1 Star, not 3 Star.

    Question Diversity Says:

Until recently, there was an ulterior motivation for BRA to make marginal blacks “generals” in the Army. It had to do with greasing the skids for a black President. Since U.S.eless Grant to the present, save James Garfield, every person elected President of the United States has had at least one of these five things on his resume: 1. Elected Vice-President, 2. Elected State Governor, 3. Elected U.S. Senator, 4. Federal executive cabinet secretary, 5. Four or Five Star General. Until recently, black Governors or Senators were very rare, and the kind of blacks that were cabinet secretaries weren’t really Presidential timber, and obviously there have been no black VPs, even to the present. So I’m sure some thought that AAing a black to 4 or 5 star general was the only way to get a black President, because we might have to march into *-stan to overthrow a tinpot dictator, and the black general would get the credit (undeservedly so) and then ride the PR wave into the White House. It didn’t work re Colin Powell.
