The conflict betwixt some states and the federal government that took place from 1860-1865 was NOT a “civil war” as it was a struggle for independence. A true civil war is when 2 or more factions duel it out for a single seat of power, that was absolutely ot the case. The moniker “civil war” is a yankee contrived term that serves the pupose of obfuscating the real reasons for the north’s butchery of a peaceful people.

if lee would have went around cemetary ridge, instead of up the south would have won the war. never attack up a slope, that was lee’s downfall. he had the north out numbered and cornered, but the up hill charge lost it for him.
