The venue was jam packed. The St. Louis CofCC holds two annual events a year. An annual cookout in the early fall, and a Christmas party in December.

The Mississippi Council of Conservative Citizens held a rally and meet the candidates events in Southern Mississippi. Twelve candidates came to the event to speak. Nine Republicans and three Democrats. One State Senator spoke. Several other county and city office holders were among the speakers. There was also a live band a BBQ feast.
